This past weekend I had the pleasure of participating in the Indie Author Book Expo for the third year in a row. We had a pretty good amount of foot traffic as writers and authors from all over Iowa and the midwest came together to sell our books and talk with fans and readers.
I was only there Saturday, so I can’t speak to the fun that was had on Sunday, but I hear there were author interview and musicians performing. If you haven’t checked out the expo in years past, make plans to do so next year. It’s always a good time.
I was blessed to have my husband and daughter with me for the day. I always appreciate the support I get from my family. Fun fact: my daughter has technically been to three expos even though she is only 15 months old! The first year I was about 5 weeks pregnant with her, the second year she was just a tiny newborn (3 months old), and this year a rambunctious toddler!
